Andover is a town in Hampshire, south-east England, and lies around 18 miles west of Basingstoke, 15 miles north-west of Winchester, 25 miles north of Southampton and 65 miles west of London.
The A303 bounds Andover south of the town and links it to London. Andover also has good links to Reading and Swindon, the M4 motorway and to Birmingham and beyond.
Andover railway station is located in the town centre and operates trains to Salisbury, Yeovil Junction, Exter St Davids, Basingstoke and London Waterloo. Some of the local attractions include Finkley Down Farm, Andover Museum and Museum of the Iron Age, Anton Lakes, Rooksbury Mill, Army Flying Museum and Hawk Conservancy Trust.
The local employers include a number of well-known brands such as Co-op Food, Abel & Cole, Ocado, Le Creuset and Stannah Stairlifts. The British Army also calls Andover home to their new headquarters. And there are a large number of smaller businesses in Andover which are located in the main business parks: Andover Business Park, Portway East and Portway West Business Parks and Walworth Business Park.
