Camberwell is a district of south London in the London Borough of Southwark. It is situated just 2.7 miles southeast of Charing cross.
This area is serviced by Denmark Hill railway station which is managed by Thameslink and also operates services by Southeastern and London Overground. London Overground operates 4 trains per hour (tph) to Clapham junction and 4 tph in the other direction to Dalston Junction via Surrey Quays. Southeastern runs 3 tph northbound from this station to London Victoria, making for great links to the City of London. Southeastern also runs 2 tph southbound to Gravesend via Lewisham and 1 tph Dover Priory via Bromley South. Thameslink operates 2 tph northbound via Elephant and Castle, one of which terminates at Kentish Town and the other Blackfriars. Southbound services by Thameslink via Catford Loop go to Orpington and Gravesend.
