Goole is a port town on the River Ouse in the East Riding of Yorkshire and lies around 16 miles north-east of Doncaster, 19 miles south of York and 29 miles west of Hull.
The M62 passes Goole to the north providing a connection between Kingston upon Hull and Leeds. The A63 provides access to the A19 towards Selby and York. The M18 runs west of town and connects Goole with South Yorkshire, the South and the Midlands.
