About Stratford, East London

Stratford is a district in east London which lies around 6 miles east of Charing Cross.

The area saw a big transformation when works of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the 2012 Summer Olympics started. In 2011 Westfield Stratford City shopping centre opened its doors, offering a big range of retailers as well as restaurant outlets, a cinema and casino.
