About Ashford, Kent

Ashford is a market town in Kent, England and lies around 61 miles south-east of London and 15 miles north-west of Folkestone. The M20 goes past near the town and connects it to the M25 motorway as well as Folkestone, providing a link to the Channel Tunnel and Dover ports.

Ashford International railway station is an international and regional train station. Regional trains are run by Southeastern and Southern and international services are run by Eurostar. The station is at the convergence of several lines, including High Speed 1 from London St Pancras International to the Channel Tunnel, the South Eastern mainline from London Charing Cross to Dover Priory, the Maidstone line from London Victoria to Maidstone East, the Ashford to Ramsgate line via Canterbury West, and the Marshlink line to Hastings.
