Sheffield is a city and metropolitan borough in South Yorkshire, England and is the third-largest English district by population.
The city is well connected via the M1 and M18 motorways. The M1 links it to London and Leeds, whilst the M18 runs from Rotherham to Goole.

The Cross Country Route links the East of Scotland and Northeast of England with the West Midlands and the Southwest, linking Liverpool and Manchester with Hull and East Anglia.
