Stevenage is a town and borough in the county of Hertfordshire which acts as a commuter town and is situated approximately 28 miles north of the City of London.
This town is served by Stevenage Railway Station which lies on the East Coast Main Line and is managed by Great Northern. Thameslink operates southbound services where there is 1 train per our (tph) to Brighton, 2 tph to Horsham and 2 tph to London King’s Cross and northbound there are 3 tph to Cambridge and 2 tph to Peterborough. This Thameslink service is capable of getting one to London King’s Cross in around 20 minutes. London North Eastern Railway operates an hourly service from London King’s Cross to Leeds which continues on to Edinburgh Waverley and Newcastle.
