Walthamstow is a district in east London in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Walthamstow is located between the Lea Valley and Walthamstow Reservoirs to the west, the North Circular Road to the north and Epping Forest to the east. It is situated 7.6 miles northeast from Euston.

This area is serviced by Walthamstow Central which is a London Underground and Overground interchange station. This station acts as the northern terminus station on the Victoria line and runs all the way to Brixton to the south. London Overground services run from Liverpool Street to Chingford, operating 4 trains per hour in either direction.

The high street at the centre of this district is home to Walthamstow Market, measuring at 2/3 of a mile making it the longest outdoor market in Europe.
