West Drayton is a suburban town in the London Borough of Hillingdon, in the county of Greater London. It is located around 17 miles west of the City of London and 3.5 miles north north-west of Heathrow Airport.
This area is served by West Drayton Station which is operated by Great Western Railway, this station provides services from London Paddington to Reading and Bristol. There are four trains per hour to Paddington, two of which coming from Reading and two from Oxford. Journeys from this station to London Paddington are around 20-minutes and just under 40-minutes to Reading in the other direction. The crossrail is due to open in December 2019 and with it a further 6 trains per hour to the centre of town.
West Drayton High Street has a selection of bars and restaurants to satisfy all of one’s dining needs. Along this high street there are also some shopping options, but as the City of London is not far via train feeding all of one’s commercial desires is never too far out of reach.
